Introducing The DroughtCast

The Buffalo Bills have not made the playoffs in 17 seasons. Perhaps you already know this.

A lot has changed since then. For starters, I’m no longer in elementary school. People have phones that can send emails now. Ralph Wilson is dead.

At the end of the 2016 season, The Defenseman pitched me on something: a podcast about every game the Bills have played during the team’s playoff drought. I said yes right away.

Yes, that’s a lot of games. Yes, that’s a lot of losing. But I think there’s something here. In looking back at our past, we can maybe learn something about what’s to come. Or maybe it will just make you more depressed about the football team you watch on Sundays. Either way, it’s been fun recording the first few games and we’re gonna see what we can do with this. Let’s try to have some fun.
