Two Thoughts Before Hockey

by Ryan

I watched the Super Bowl at my house and to prove the lead-out thing actually works, I ended up watching Glee for the first time in my life. The entire thing played out like an episode of Mystery Science Theatre 3000, and I think this accurately addresses the utter confusion I felt the entire time.

I have no idea what Glee used to be, but if that was it I know I’m not missing anything.

I completely agree with Kate that Keeping Up With the Pegulas on Twitter will end in a fiery pit of chaos. As soon as people found out about them I started to get nervous, but this thing is just on a bad trajectory right now. These kids are teenagers calling into radio shows and people are already chirping at them jokingly about who to get rid of and what to do.

Very soon the goodwill ends and the joking will stop. It will get ugly and this is not a grim prediction. It is fact. The Steve Johnson Incident happened just a few months ago and he’s a grown ass man. These are young girls in high school who happen to have a billionaire for a father. The boat is drifting into unfamiliar waters and Odysseus is strapping himself to the mast. I suggest you do the same.

I agree wholeheartedly about the Pegula girls. Like watching a train accident that you can’t do anything about. Or like watching a bad cliche ruin a comment.
