I fell asleep before the “Tape Delayed Live Blog of Fail” could happen, but I’ll try to get to it today. For now, here’s the best commercial you saw last night:
Simple, tells a story, and doesn’t involve pants-less men. A lot of people have said this year’s commercials were the worst ever, but I’m not so sure of that. I think the internet has changed a lot about the way we think and interpret commercialism and humor, two things that have a lot to do with Super Bowl ads.
But seriously, how many commercials showed hapless men, objectified women, and animals doing stupid crap? All of them but one? Oh, so maybe that explains it.
I think you’re right about the Google commercial being the best – but man, I’m still a sucker for ‘small animals doing stupid crap.’ Or any Garmin commercial.
