From 1950-1970, Charlie Brown’s career pitching numbers are 7-85 with ERA between 70.00 and 90.00. Heck yes someone figured this out.

Please, please click through to the full story and the subsequent statistics, because the data is just fantastic. No word on what his BABIP was over that stretch, but I’m guessing it’s consistently high.

Seriously, thank God we live in a world where people actually figure these things out. I feel like a better person for knowing how bad a pitcher Charlie Brown is with concrete numbers, and I’m sure you feel the same way.
