As I draft my second fantasy hockey team of the year tonight, I thought it would be nice to get a little reminder that hockey really is coming back this weekend:

We’ve been quiet about the hockey preseason, but with the final roster set and opening night just around the corner, expect a ton of Sabres posts before the puck drops on Saturday. In fact, this weekend is going to be something very special, so stay tuned.

- Rob Ray might not of been the best scrapper in the world, but he was pretty classy…he lands a wicked shot on that guy and that was it – didn’t try and land any more.
- What was the story at the end of last year, where Ray’s eyes just about popped out of his head? I can’t remember what it was that he saw (or if we ever found out).
